'Pure chaos' on Sansom Street as killer goes on rampage

'Pure chaos' on Sansom Street as killer goes on rampage

Some people, not many, have to have an object of hatred to be able to feel alive.

"At all costs, he wanted to hide the delicious icy chilliness that controlled his brain, the surge of wintry cold hatred that pervaded his body.

Hate is a sick form of emotional energy and it's addictive. The hater will project his or her hate onto another person, the inner root of bitterness that emerged in that soul has to be expressed.

Other than on those occasions in which the hater
has a target for that hate which often begins as self-loathing begun during childhood, when the opportunity to hate continues to fester and with no target to vent against – remains a  captive to a dull, lifeless ache that is almost unendurable and feels that his/her life is meaningless, boring, unstimulating like a morsel of insipid foodstuff.

From the information provided in this story, in this article, I perceive the impression that this fellow Glenn is exemplary of the sort of person who needed people to hate on - in order to avoid being consumed by  that intolerable sense of dull ache that life means nothing.
